Discovering chiropractic care came by accident for me. In high school and college, I mowed lawns for extra money. One day while mowing, I strained my neck, and was fortunate enough that one of my customers was a chiropractor. I told him about my neck injury and he kindly treated me in his home office, and I immediately felt relief. From that point on, I believed in the healing of chiropractic care and began to pursue my chiropractic education. Learn more about my chiropractic education and experience here. All these years later, I still see my own chiropractor on a regular basis to stay in tip-top condition.

Dr. Ken Cassorla Believes Good Health Begins with Good Movement

Good health begins with good movement. It's hard to imagine being healthy and not being able to move freely and painlessly. Yet, when patients consult with me, they almost always have a problem associated with some part of their body not moving as it should. So, that becomes my starting point...determining exactly what is preventing good movement and what needs to be done to restore it. Each person is different in this regard. Many factors need to be considered. Age, height, weight, fitness level, severity and duration of the condition. All these issues factor into the exam and my treatment plan. The important thing is to get started at the earliest opportunity, before the situation worsens.

Patients come in a wide variety. Almost all derive some benefit from my care. Some achieve full resolution of their condition. For others, only partial resolution. In either case, I value educating each person, often using charts books and models, to explain what is happening to them.

Please don't put it off! Spinal problems rarely get better on their own. Begin your journey towards better health today by consulting the Santa Cruz chiropractor who was once in the same position you’re in.

Dr. Ken Asks some important questions of interest to Santa Cruz residents - Chiropractor Santa Cruz Dr. Ken Asks...

Where do most Santa Cruz residents get their first vertebral subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Santa Cruz newborn.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Santa Cruz chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
